PCV Driver/Passenger Assistant

Required to work for local council driving a variety of vehicles in excess of 30 feet (9 metres) in length.

Duties will include:

Driving a variety of vehicles including PCV and Minibuses

Operating disabled access equipment on the vehicles including tail lifts and ramps

Ensuring the safe collection, assistance and taking children and young adults to and from various establishments and then home again

Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles

Candidates must have Category D licence and experience of driving buses

Hours of work are subject to vary but will be: 7.30am to 10.30am and 2pm to 5pm or 6pm

Candidates must be over 23 for insurance purposes and be able to carry out heavy lifting

Immediate start for the right applicant

On-going contract until Spring

Pay £7.50 per hour
