We are looking for a Packing Line Technician to start work as soon as possible on a temporary to permenant basis.

Job Purpose

To ensure packing lines run efficiently and smoothly in order to meet production targets, to complete line change over and make adjustments to the krones /meypack and pallitisers improve line efficiency and reduce down time, make adjustments to resolve quality issues on labels and capper, set coders and adjust when required metal detectors.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Change over of packing line machines.
• To complete paperwork for line change over.
• Carry out relevant line checks and document.
• To conduct duties and procedures in a manner which does not compromise product safety.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Maintain and clean machinery as required.
• Implement and document best practice.
• Log all adjustments and inform engineering of any broken or faulty parts.
• Work to weekly production plans in order to achieve packing line requirements.
• Assist packing line team leaders when necessary with ad-hoc duties.
• Problem solving .
• Fault finding .
• Set up and adjustments for packing lines .
• Perform tasks around the factory as required.
