Our prestigious client based in Luton require an experienced Data Analyst to report on Safety Performance within the organisation. The successful candidate will be tasked with taking individual responsibility for the overall analysis, coordination and reporting of safety data. The Safety Performance Data Analyst is also responsible for the on-going coordination and development of data analysis.
Your experience should include:
• Understanding of databases and data mining concepts
• Proven ability to deliver to deadlines
• Great attention to detail and ability to identify trends and patterns in the data
• Ability to communicate in plain English
• Great interpersonal skills, leadership and influencing
• Proven ability to give clear and concise presentations to the senior management
• Proven ability to challenge the status quo and promote organisational change
• A solid grasp of Research Methods and statistical data analysis
• Graduate degree in IT, Statistics or Business Analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Good office IT skills
Responsibilities will include:
· Facilitate and coordinate the subject matter data analysts specialists
· Correlate, analyse and investigate all data streams
· Provide statistical analysis of the available data
· Identify hazards and risks using in-depth data analysis
· In conjunction with the subject matter data analysts specialists produce regular Operations safety performance reports
· Facilitate the development of consistent reporting descriptors
· Facilitate the on-going development of data analysis
· Define data gaps and identify bridging solutions
· Support the Investigation process with statistical analysis
· Base safety performance review analysis and support
