The successful candidate must be able to develop and lead a programme of multi-variant testing to optimise the conversion of the Client website and manage their SEO strategy, reporting and activity.

Responsibilities will include

SEO

·         Works with data, internal analysts and agencies to understand and report SEO performance on a continuous basis

·         Identifies challenges and opportunities, then proposes and agrees SEO strategy for the business

·         Develops website content and capability to improve SEO rankings and customer conversion on-site

·         Works with Regional Marketing Managers to ensure SEO learnings and activity are successfully applied across all our markets

Multi-variant testing

·         Initiates and reviews detailed customer research, web traffic statistics, market intelligence, etc. to understand customer behaviour.

·         Identifies opportunities to improve conversion/spend/loyalty/usability around the site, proposes appropriate changes to optimise these and builds into a continuous improvement programme.

·         Manages agencies (interaction design/usability/visual creative/coding/content/multi-variant testing) to run multi-variant tests and optimise the site.

Candidates experience should include

  • Significant experience managing and developing high profile, consumer facing, transactional websites
  • Knowledge of web usability, design best practice and accessibility
  • Knowledge of consumer research & consumer segmentation techniques
  • Knowledge of SEO approaches
  • Knowledge of multi-variant testing
  • Experience of leading cross-functional project teams
  • General experience of operational marketing including commissioning design, writing copy, producing ad briefs, reviewing creative
  • Graduate Calibre
