Experienced HR Business Partner required for an excellent career opportunity based at London Luton Airport.

The key function of this role will be the responsibility for providing high level HR business support, working closely with the management team within the specified client group. Addressing the full range of strategic and operational people issues, implementing best practice policies and delivering key HR initiatives that support organisational and functional plans.

Key tasks will include:

  • Respond to all HR incoming queries whether face to face, email or phone and own the enquiry until satisfactorily completed.
  • As the knowledge expert, support and advise managers in the correct implementation of all policies, practices and procedures including disciplinary and grievance policies and Reward.
  • Responsible for the Learning & Development plans for your client area, ensure effective delivery of HR training, specifically assisting managers in dealing with key HR issues.
  • Be an expert user if the HR system and advise on its usage when required.
  • Support the yearly cycle of HR projects and when responsible ensure excellence in execution and delivery, such as the bonus and pay reviews
  • Research and input into HR projects as requested by Head of HR / People Director.
  • Support and own when required the recruitment process within your specified client area.
  • Be responsible for developing new HR policies and procedures in partnership with the HR Service Manager.

Essential Skills and Experience:

·         Graduate calibre, ideally CIPD Qualified

·         HR generalist with experience in all areas of HR including: ER, Reward, Talent, Learning & Organisational Development.

·         Understanding and ideally experience of working in a business partnering model

·         Ability to work independently as a broad HR generalist across a variety of client groups at any one time.

·         Strong interpersonal skills, a track record of delivery through influence at all levels including Management and Leadership

·         Track record of demonstrating the commercial value of HR interventions on an operational or project basis

·         Ability to work on own initiative, taking minimal direction and with a solutions not problem mindset.

·         A true self starter, with high levels of motivation, passion and enthusiasm.

·         Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders at Management and Leadership levels.

·         Professional and customer focussed approach including absolute discretion, diplomacy and sensitivity in handling confidential matters and information.

·         A proactive team player

·         Excellent numerical and verbal/written communication skills.

·         IT and systems literate
