Our prestigious client is seeking an experienced and highly numerate Web Analyst to provide insight for our clients website to support trading optimisation, SEO activity, development planning and increased personalisation and targeting.

 

The role will deliver understanding of how customers use the website, detailed web stats and transactional analysis, website performance monitoring, booking funnel effectiveness, drop-out points analysis, customer satisfaction, analysis of multi-variant testing,  and application of customer segmentation models and targeting effectiveness

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         To provide regular basic reporting and insight of the traffic to and around the website, core web stats and web commercial performance

·         To provide ad hoc analysis of promotional effectiveness on the website, analysing volume uplift generated by site promotional activity

·         To understand customer journeys through the website, identify drop-out points and reasons for task failure

·         To monitor website speed and performance and flag issues

·         To support SEO analysis and reporting

·         To analyse customer conversion rates by segment and identify opportunities and challenges

·         Other ad hoc analysis work as required

 

Person Spec:

Essential:

·         Graduate calibre with an analytical background

·         Experience of working in an analytical role within a commercial organisation

 

·         Understanding of the online channel and of e-Commerce

·         Understanding of website stats, transactional analysis, usability research and customer segmentation

·         A working knowledge of mathematical models, sampling and statistical techniques Experienced working with analytical tools such as Excel, Access or SPSS

 

·         Strong team player with great interpersonal skills, able to present results of analysis to users at all levels of the business

·         Self-motivated with a drive for results

·         Flexible & adaptable enough to work comfortably in a fast moving, competitive environment

·         Organised with excellent attention to detail

 

Also desirable:

·         Retail or travel experience

·         Experience within a pan-European organisation
