Response Personnel Ltd will be raising money on Jeans for Genes Day, Friday 2nd October
Staff at Response Personnel Ltd will be swapping their usual work clothes for jeans on Jeans for Genes Day 2009 which takes place on Friday 2nd October.
Each staff member will donate £5 to wear their jeans to work and will also be canvassing to raise even more money to help children with genetic disorders.
Jeans for Genes aims to change the world for children living with genetic disorders. The money raised on Jeans for Genes Day funds care and support for children and families affected by genetic disorders, as well as research into the causes and cures of these conditions.
Genetic disorders affect 1 in 33 children born in the UK – the equivalent to one in every class of schoolchildren. Many of these disorders have no treatment available and more than half of all childhood deaths in the UK are linked to a genetic condition.
